I’m Kate Silverman, M.Ed., an educational consultant based in Denver. Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked across the education landscape as a teacher, principal, and executive director, giving me a comprehensive, insider understanding of how schools operate and what makes them thrive.

I founded School Savvy to support families navigating a process that can feel overwhelming and stressful. As both an educator and a parent, I understand how important it is to find a school environment where a child feels supported, appropriately challenged, and known. Every child is different, and the “right” school is never one-size-fits-all.

I genuinely love this work: meeting families, visiting schools, and staying closely connected to the evolving landscape across Denver. Over the years, I’ve supported hundreds of families through the school selection process, helping them move from uncertainty to clarity with a thoughtful, individualized approach.

My approach is highly personalized. I work closely with each family to understand their child’s learning profile, priorities, and goals, then guide them through every phase of school selection from building a school list to navigating admissions and making a final decision.
